- Kangaroo Island trip - argh.. the nauseous feeling from motion sickness due to rocky waves.. but all sufferings was worth it.. delicious HOney ice cream.. super cute baby seals.. not-so-remarkable rocks.. in my opinion.. cos it bled my palm.. but still we get beautiful pics for it =) , but the last one is the coolest of all! admiral arch with the sun glimmering through the arch.. and the nz sealions lazing on the rocks.. totally.. AWESOME! 11/7

"it's very embarassing eh!" i whispered to naikiong.. then zoe is like "wat wat? wat's embarassin?".. then she went to toilet.. providing us the golden chance to prepare the >cake<.. her first response upon seeing the >cake< anyway =")">
- pancake house breakie then goodbye to zoe.. 14/7
for the first time, i experienced such a great downturn of mood.. it was just a day ago where i have TEN friends stayin wiht me for a week in my SMALL TINY apartment.. then. poof.. everyone left.. so i comfort myself..by.. drama-aton for 3 days before climbing out of my shell to sifu house.. then bk into my shell again..

- plant tour.. 20/7 to 24/7
it was an eyeopening experience.. went around different plants, from food factory to power plants to the olympic dam.. it was really great.. we have to change into the safety attire, with the hairnet and wat sorts.. akekek.. and mingling wiht the graduates who are working in the olympic dam increases my interest to work in the chem eng field.. prior to this i wasnt really sure wat i will be doing after grad, but right now.. i quite like the working environment (of olympic dam anyway) =) the plant tour gave me a chance to get close with my local coursemates, since theres only 15 of us and only me n stephanie are international students, the rest being aussies.. chatted bout our lousy lecturers.. tough subs... tv series.. sports.. they chat n drink i mean.. akeke.. i just sat there shivering cos the wind was blowing on my sockless feet.. ahehe..
- kimberley clark with the fantastic robots; wynns winery @ mount gambier .. tasting wine at 930 am was quite an experience, lolz! i bought a bottle of riesling back.. ahehe.. still in the fridge waitin for a party =P went to the blue lake, but apparently it turn grey in winter instead of the summer simmering blue we saw in summer.. went home in city to enjoy awesome curry dahl cooked by kerrie =)
- smiths snack food factory with the delicious hot-from-oven cheesy nachos; port pirie aluminum smelter (i slept throughout tis tour though, cos it was damn too boring, and the equipments and methods were kinda old-fashioned.. i.e. not environmentally friendly); and our beautiful view from port pirie caravan beach park.
- port augusta power station and onesteel (both are ok.. but view from the power station was beautiful since it was overlookin a gulf) the processing of the dolomites, limestones and i forgot wat else was quite interesting, esp the burning of coal from coke (isit called sintering?) , man, that was cool!! - and finally to roxby downs at night where we stayed in Olympic Village sponsored by BHP Biliton and bbq with the grads.. we each hv a en-suite cabin of our own! but i seriously dono how to open the doorlock.. like have to open in opposite directions using both hands.. watever..
- to the OLYMPIC Dam.. safety video where we hv to a quiz to test whether we were paying attention or not.. then presentation from the grads, like the smelter, refinery, hydromet, sedimentation.. oolalaa... i was assigned to walk around the hydromet.. man, the tanks were huge.. 6 tanks in total.. for the separation of copper and uranium.. the grads keep on insisting us to apply for vac work there.. lolz.. then 7 hrs bus journey from roxby downs back to city =)

and become hermit again till uni reopened on monday...

n then.. kaboom.. i found out tat we got in to the chem-e-car competition.. but we hadnt receive news from our lecturer at all, so were behind the two other groups by 2 weeks = 14 days.. arghhh.. urgent meeting, fast planning and effiicent plans..
