rainy days

just 1 more day left of the much anticipated 2 weeks break.. sigh.. tasks accomplished:
- 90% of major report. accounting to 50 pages only.. my senior had a 57 page report.. faint~
- 90% of preliminary report.. head's too heavy to think of expected results and manipulated vars
- 0% of studies - microbiology..
- 0% on chem-e-car research.. meeting unlikely to postpone.. damn.. tmr night research la.. i'm so not going to debate with anthony on electrochemical cells as fuel cells..
- mom's been calling almost everyday enquiring bout my progress in internship application.. she;s more worried than i am. sigh~ too busy to rewrite my cv.. will do it.. next week :)

my break is spent mostly in the uni, either in cats or library, with Elyn!! hate typing numbers and eqns by laptop.. so hv to go uni to use the desktop + keyboard.. just realised.. microsoft 07 is great to use. especially in report writing!! the layout and styles are pretty and efficient. makes my report looks so well-presented! well, not reli efficient cos i spent 3 hrs plus just importing my data from excel worksheet into word document.. but all the hard work.. is to produce a nice, "partially" informative report on control valves.. such a boring topic and i;ve to write 20 pages solely on the input and output of it.. boring ~ but.. tats my major report for the whole break...

hengjin came by to stay with me for 2 weeks.. she;s back from wagga wagga, and isolated countryside in nsw. haha.. seems like life in wagga wagga had made her bored to death, as she was climbing like a monkey unleashed from its cage during the hallett cove trip.. ah. hallet cove.. i must say.. hooilie, wenqi, zhewei n tc were great games organizers!! as tiring as it is, the games are impressively fun! thanks! we went to two beaches that day - hallet cove beach and glenelg beach.. tat was memorable..

and that.. was the only trip i went for my 2 weeks break.. lolz!

now feeling damned unwell.. sore throat. inflammation at my throat since morn.. sigh.. been drinkin water non-stop, can say like every 20 mins intervals!! so toilet is the 2nd most visited place today..1st is library since i stayed there for 8 hrs straight.. thanks to kerrie for the lozenges! thanks to elyn for accompanying me to the library even though it was rainign cats and dogs and her boots got all wet..

went to central market last night. elyn wanted to buy just 4 pcs of banana which costed 50cts.. we found tat the whole carton was just $2, er.. consisting of definitely more than 30pcs of bananas in a carton.. being an economist, she traded the 4 pcs to the carton.. but it was too heavy for us to carry so.. ahehe.. we called "my 911" and they came to help us carry the carton bk. a short trip to the central market for last min groceries ended up with banana milkshakes at ang's place again! and monopoly till 12am.. tis time round, i lost badly, probably yesterday was an unlucky day!

i guess, tats all bout my hols.. very stressed... pimples are all popping out now.. sucks~
